Thanks for being so receptive to suggestions - it rocks!!!
I realize that there are a HUGE degree of differences in each child, heck, my 8 year old public school daughter would work great just using the weekly list.
The one assignment at a time would be a major blessing, as an example of her anxiety over just having 3 worksheets, that take her about 10 minutes each to do - she cried to her SLP over being overwhelmed at it for 30 minutes yesterday. Just seeing the next stuff to do had her thinking about that instead of just getting the top one done and moving on. It has been a rough couple of weeks here....
Anyway, my first request does go to the being able to order the Today assignments (because, obviously scrolling down thru them is going to be an issue for her... sigh....).
My other request as I type in this weeks assignments is an additional subsection in lesson plans of "weekdays" of some sort (or a custom sequence). I have her doing a variety of the "Daily ___________" books from Evan-Moor (focused, targeted, and sure to not overwhelm. HAHAHA). SOme of them have the assignments on 2-3 pages with headings of "Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday.....". So the assignment is labeled, Week 2 - Monday. I will see if she is flexible enough to translate 2a to Monday. Last week she did the whole page - Monday - Wednesday. Oops!
While you look at widening the routine column - can you check to see if it can be made to be user set? That would be the ultimate!
And i'm still voting for some sort of timer built in. Something simple, I'd just like to full screen the app and not have her using other apps or her Touch.
OK, back to work for me!
(Oh and for the record, I have done some programming in my former life, worked at a place with 95% custom written software, did System Admin work - i'm ultra-sensative to the priorities of requests, and all that... aka, I know nothing happens overnight and apps don't come from the app store... HAHAHA, I worked in agriculture, the joke was that "food doesn't come from Safeway" - someone has to farm it.... just like behind every app is a programmer and today that probably means someone with a life and job in addition to the app development - thanks again!!)
