I added my school year, added my holidays, but when I auto -assign the lessons, it does not skip the holidays I entered into the school year. How do I fix this?
I think I finally figured out the answer to my problem. It needs to have 2 days entered into the holiday field. Start with the day before the actual holiday day that you want to take off. So if you want to enter Columbus Day, for example, you need to put in October 12-October 13. If you only put in Oct 13 in it will not put the holiday into the assignment calendar. I figured this out because even though I set Christmas for Dec 22-Jan 2. It was skipping the 22nd. When I went back and moved the date back to Dec 21st it included the 22nd but not the 21st. The start date does not actually show up in the assignment calendar.
I am having the same problem. My Christmas and Thanksgiving holidays are showing up in the assignment calendar but the rest are not. I have checked to make sure that the year is correct. This is occuring even when I viewing with one child or multiple.
Is there any solution for this? It automatically skipped thanksgiving, and showed as thanksgiving on my assignment calendar... That must be a preplanned thing, because I had set more days for a break than it gave me on the calendar. Anyway, Christmas break s coming soon and it's not showing in my assignment calendar.
They don't appear in the assignment calendar and I'm only assigning one student total.
It's interesting because the holidays are mentioned in reports as well... Very odd.
That's odd . . . it should be skipping. Do the holidays actually appear on your Assignment Calendar?
Also, I'm curious, are you assigning to multiple students at once, or only one student at a time?
